Hello Im new to this forum and I am doing a dissertation about Family Guy for University (pretty sweet I know!) and bascially I want to know what you think about Family Guy as a whole, what you like about it, what you dislike about it, what is it about Family Guy that attracts you to watch it, what do you think about the references and how do you compare Family Guy to American Dad and The Cleveland show.

For now I'll tell you the differances between American Dad and The Cleveland Show that make them differant from Family Guy. American Dad doesn't use flashbacks and has solid storylines and The Cleveland Show is a black Family Guy but they don't have a pet and there is no beastiality. Tim the bear is married to another bear and has a son who is also a bear. I'll tell you about Family Guy later.
I like family guy so much because they are not afraid of going too far. You can say the simpsons and south park do the same, but no they don't. What I like also is the fact they take the piss out of the good old fashioned values, as they say in the opening credit.

I love the show its better every time... but thats obviously my opinion... but there are people who hate the show but still waste time posting on this site...
