Does anyone else get this thing where, when reading a particularly engrossing book in some public setting, your reality and the book seem to merge and when someone interacts with you and you're wondering if they're an android or maybe even you're the android and the whole world seems bleary and out of focus?
Haha all the time. I particularly remember a non-stop reading of Dan Simmon's The Terror where I'd be walking around and physically shivering like I too was freezing to death in the Arctic. And sometimes I'd wake up in the the middle of the night and it would be a good minute or so before consciousness came roaring and I realized that I wasn't trapped in a landlocked ship's barracks, listening to the echoed pounding of some sort of creature just outside in the sub-zero water.

Jesus, that was a vivid fucking novel. You should read it if you haven't already Fett...there's few things better than a true-life story of survival in harsh frozen conditions combined with a terrifying monster.

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

So good.

It's only sharing everything if you demonstrate them here.

I just bought a couple of sweet new sex toys, and I saved a lot of money on them by using coupon codes!

That makes me happy in the sex-loving AND bargain-hunting parts of my brain!

How's that for sharing everything?

I was randomly thinking about it today, and I remember when there was a time that I would talk about every single thing that happened in my life at this place. And how I've been going through a lot of things lately and haven't mentioned it at all on the boards. I don't know where I'm going with this, I've been awake too fucking long.

The times they are a-changin'...

I too, own NHL11 and am pretty impressed with it. I enjoy the improvements as stated by popeski, but personally I love that the cross-crease passes are a lot tougher, that is something I was getting lazy with.
Also, I like the new mode EAUHL, it's like a roleplaying game and NHL all in one!
Furthermore, online play seems fun, I can just drop in on anybody's game and play with a bunch of strangers!
